Our story
One of India's leading beekeeping movements
Proudly rooted in Kanyakumari since 1996, Jee Honey has trained over 80,000 people in beekeeping across every district of Tamil Nadu — farmers, students, tribal communities, and officials from agriculture, forest, and horticulture departments.
Today we maintain up to 5,000 active bee colonies and supply up to 40,000 bee boxes when required — Tamil Nadu's only beekeeping company with its own sawmill and R&D facility for manufacturing bee boxes and products using advanced in-house technology.

The founder's story
What began as a childhood curiosity has grown into more than 25 years of dedicated beekeeping.
Mr. V. Jino, the visionary behind Jee Honey, was born in 1983 in Nagercoil into a humble apiculture family. While other children spent school holidays playing, he spent his days learning beekeeping with his father — fascinated by how bees collect nectar and work together inside a hive.
After completing his B.A. and Diploma in Apiculture, he followed his passion wholeheartedly — undergoing formal beekeeping training in Kanyakumari and learning from experts across India. He has received the Professor of Practice Certificate at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
Starting with just 200 bee boxes, Jino has built Jee Honey into one of the region's most respected beekeeping enterprises — managing thousands of colonies, producing high-quality honey, and remaining a continuous learner through seminars, workshops, and webinars across the country.
